DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

We are looking to add a Development Coordinator to our team in Vancouver. Reporting to the Development Manager, you can expect to participate in a wide variety of projects and initiatives, from mid-size urban to large-scale redevelopment of mixed-use residential and commercial assets. Projects range from downtown Vancouver to throughout the lower mainland. This person will be working closely with the development team on key tasks associated to our development portfolio and performing tasks to assist in running multiple projects in various stages of development from initial budgets to the start of construction.

With a strong capital base and long-term project pipeline, this position presents a real growth opportunity for the right person.

 

You will:

  • Gather information and assess opportunities during the due diligence process
  • Assist with the preparation of rezoning, subdivision, development and building permit applications
  • Prepare for and assist with the public consultation process
  • Liaise with accounting, insurance, and legal teams

 

You have:

  • 2+ years of applicable work experience in the Vancouver Lower Mainland development industry with residential/mixed use background
  • Diligent, resourceful, meticulous
  • Team player with strong work ethic
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel

MARKETING COORDINATOR

MARKETING COORDINATOR

We are looking to add a Marketing Coordinator to our team in Vancouver. Reporting to the Senior VP Sales & Marketing, you should be a creative self-starter, with a passion for details and an eye for the brand. You will be involved in the marketing process from the ground up.

 

You will:

  • Implement advertising and social media campaigns
  • Write creative content including newsletters, promotional email blasts, brochures
  • Manage corporate contact list and CRM
  • Implement Corporate social media and blog strategy plans
  • Collect information to update the website and social media channels
  • Assist with corporate and project events
  • Coordinate with third party partners

 

You have:

  • Minimum of two years marketing or retail experience
  • Degree or diploma in marketing, multi-media or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and love for the Real Estate industry
  • A strong desire to learn about Real Estate Marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong command of the English language.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

We are looking to add a Property Management Assistant to our team. Reporting to the director of Property Management & Administration, this person will provide administrative support to help manage Company rental properties.

 

You will:

  • Research rental rate and calculate overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
  • Assist with finding tenants
  • Assist with tenancy agreement and negotiating leases
  • Collect security deposits and rent
  • Assist with bill payments
  • Assist with property maintenance and resolve tenant complaints
  • Assist with general office administration

 

You have:

  • Minimum one year experience within real estate or a related industry
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Intermediate computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external clients effectively
  • Great listening skills and willing to assist others as necessary

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are looking to add a Development Manager to our team in Vancouver. Reporting to the VP Development & Construction, you can expect to lead and participate in a wide variety of projects and initiatives, from mid-size urban to large-scale redevelopment of mixed-use residential and commercial assets. Projects range from downtown Vancouver to throughout the lower mainland. With a strong capital base and long-term project pipeline, this position presents a real growth opportunity for the right person.

 

You will:

  • Be responsible for projects from early stage acquisition, through design and approvals in conjunction with the Development team.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants and project teams to ensure the project is delivered as planned
  • Assist in community engagement, municipal negotiations and approvals
  • Assist in acquisitions and pre-development reviews
  • Liaise with external Development Managers
  • Review drawings to ensure accuracy
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing and the Finance Departments

 

You have:

  • Minimum of five years of applicable work experience within the real estate development industry. Ideally from a residential/mixed use background.
  • Experience from associated development roles such as planning; architecture; project management; engineering.
  • Experience with municipal by-laws and protocols is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong command of the English Language, verbal and written communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and an in-depth understanding of the Real Estate development business.
